Earlier this year I was asked to do a jazz mass, composed Peter Schindler. Haven’t¨done something like that before but I’m always up for a challenge. The score was written for organ, drums, bass and sax, so I was asked to put together a trio. I recently played with the great Klas Toresson on sax and I saw this as an opportunity to get to play some more with him We have spoken about that for some time. And he accepted my request. I also asked one of my favorite drummers Daniel Olsson. A great new trio for the occasion and it turned out really well.
