What a wonderful gig to break the current Corona hiatus! Church organist Gabriella Sjöström invited me to do a joint concert with both church organ and Hammond. St Göran’s church has a wonderful acoustic and I decided to bring the big guns, that is, my B3 with two leslies. They both looked and sounded great in the room!
The concert was divided into three parts, like this:

Part III Schubert & Mendelsohn

- Greensleeves/What Child Is This (2 church organs)
Mostly we would alternate playing pieces on our respective instruments, but the last song “Greensleeves” was actually a Jimmy Smith jazz arrangement played on two church organs. Probably a first for that!
