This was Trinity’s first church gig of the summer. The Sunday of Midsummer weekend seemed just the right time! Tour premieres are always exciting, especially when it’s a a new place. We haven’t been here as a group before, although I played at a rainbow service here last fall.
One of the new songs that we decided to add to the repertoire was The shadow of your smile. We used to play it before, but in another version. Here, we was inspeired by Glenn Frey’s ballad version. It worked out great, a beautiful addition to the set list.
