Feppe - honoring the memory of Kjell Öhman
Today exactly 10 years ago, Kjell Öhman, one of Sweden’s true musical legends passed away. I probably cannot overstate his importance in my musical journey. If, for example, you wonder why my Instagram handle is @feppe and my record label is called Feppe records, it’s because of this song, written by Kjell and recorded on his legendary Organ jazz with Kjell Öhman album from 1968. One of my favorites that I often use as an opener. Here from a solo concert in Reykjavik earlier this year. If you’re in Sweden and the Uppsala area, on Saturday there will be a tribute concert for Kjell at Katalin. So looking forward to that!
