Daniel has always been one of my favorite drummers and we have played together in different groups for about 15 years. Having lived in the same city for many years we often meet in my studio for jam sessions.
When I was planning my record Finally!, the first thing I knew was that I wanted him to be the drummer. What I really like about him is that he can be both jazzy and funky. Also, there’s a healthy dose of spontaneity in his playing that makes it fresh and exciting every time.
