Meeting with Thorir and the black B3
In november 2018 me and Palli Kristmundsson went to Iceland for a few days and got a acquainted with some of the organs and organ players in the Reykjavik area. One of the highlights was when Icelandic Hammond legend Thorir Baldursson, showed us one of the organs he had renovated, in Óháði söfnuðurinn. A beautiful B3 in black lacquer, with a great rich sound. Palli filmed some of it and I made a compilation to try to summarize it all. Apart from the joy of playing a great B3, it was also a pleasure and honor to meet Thorir.
A wonderful day in wonderful company with a wonderful organ!
