Lennart have known each other for quite a few years, but it wasn’t until 2021 that we started playing together. He has a project called “Throw me some Bowie”, doing a David Bowie tribute. There are two versions of this project, one for bigger shows with a bigger band, and a trio called “Hunky Dory edition”. The latter does music primarily from the Hunky Dory and Ziggy Stardust albums. I was asked to join Hunky Dory and it has been a really nice way of getting to know Bowie and his early music better.
