Kjell used to be the drummer for Arnesen bluesband, and that’s how I got to know him. Nowadays he plays with the band now and then. He’s involved in a lot of other projects, most notable his own “Kjell Gustavsson Rhythm ‘n’ Blues Orchestra”. He has also been playing with me and Hans Bollandsås a few times.
He has a shuffle that is just out of this world and when he gets into a groove pocket, there isn’t much that can push him out of it.
