New acqaintances! I usually don’t play with Jojo’s program Jazz på Svenska (“Jazz in Swedish”), but this gig got book on quite a short notice and I was happy to sub. It was the same for Emmalisa, the singer. So we me early and rehearsed. Mostly some favorite tunes assiciated with Monica Zetterlund, starting with “Sakta vi gå genom stan” (Swedish lyrics on Walking my baby back home) and “Monicas vals” (Waltz for Debbie). We did a half hour set, which feels quite short, but sweet!
