Emil Ingmar is a pianist and composer, and a good friend and colleague of mine in my hometown of Uppsala. I was invited to play at this Ray Charles tribute at Katalin. I was delighted to accept. I so like the music, and you can bring out all Billy Preston-licks you have. It turned out a marvellous evening. Well received by the audience, and the band had a really good time. I was also reminded of how fun it is to play with a horn section, sort of imitating a big band.
