Trying to find the words to describe this concert, but it’s hard. To just say it was a great concert isn’t quite enough. It was such an explosion of groove, artistry, joy and love. This band has existed to more than 20 years and it shows. We just had so much fun and happened to make some great music as well. I usually refer to this band as one of the cornerstones of my musical life, and yesterday really proved that point. The place was packed and the audience loved it.
I also really like this venue, E-street, and the organizers, Jazzklubben Sundsvall. They make the whole experience so much more enjoyable.
This was the 4th time in just a few months that I played here, and the last couple of times have showcased some other of my cornerstones. I feel so blessed to get to work in all these wonderful bands.
