One of the best things with these small tours is that you can end up in such interesting av nice places, and meeting all sorts of people. Knastorp Kaffe & Kultur is a combined concert venue and café located on the countryside just outside Vimmerby (one of the towns frequently appearing in Astrid Lindgren´s children’s books). The owner had seen me perform “A whiter shade of pale” at her uncle’s funeral in Uppsala and asked me to come down to her and play. We did as a combined concert and talk where I talked about my personal journey the last couple of years as well as played some favorite songs. It turned out great, although, the most memorable moment I think was the day after. Two german tourists came in ffor a cup of coffee and I sat down and had a chat. Turned out they liked rock music. The organ was still rigged in the concert room so I took them there and played “Wind of change” for them. There were so overwhelmed! I love giving people that experience.
