A friend of mine asked me to play at the opening of his 60 year birthday party. It was supposed to be half an hour od so when the guests arrived. But, as things turned out, I sat there most of the evening and people were really diggning the organ sounds and grooves. A lot of other musicians were there as well. Sometimes they would releave of my duties for while and we also jammed a couple of tunes together. A fun party gig for sure and I got to use a lot of the repertoire that I have build the last couple of years. Organ party, that’s where it’s at!
