In the end of January, Arnesen Blues Band did a little trip up north in Sweden. 2 gigs, in the towns of Sundsvall and Härnösand. We haven’t been out that much with this band lately so I think we all were just happy to play together again., And we had so much fun! I just got some video out so do check it out!

This band has been around for more than 20 years and it has become one of the cornerstones of my musical life. It doesn’t matter how long it has been since the last gig. When you get up on stage and Thomas counts in the first song, usually “Funky Mama”, it’s just there. Usually the band also have a piano player, which allows for a really rich sound. However, he couldn’t join on this tour so we did it as a quartet instead. It’s fun in another way since it gives more room for the organ. And Thomas really let’s you shine. The song linked below “Less than ever” is one of the Hammond organ features. This time it was already the second song of the concert so you really had to warm up fast in the first one.
