This concert was booked for me and Kiralina, but for various reasons she couldn’t make it. So, we had to find an alternative on quite a short notice. In those situations, it is so nice to have some other constellations and bands to suggest. It turned out that both Erik Söderlind and Daniel Olsson was available, so S.H.O.P. could do the gig. Since this is quite different from what me and Kiralina do, I was a little worried that people would be disappointed, but it turned out just the opposite. We had such a great time and the audience loved. I said to the trio in the van on he way home – “We have to do this more”, and I really hope we will. Playing the music that made you start playing the instrument is just so much fun and inspiring.
And the good thing is that Kiralina and me are already booked for the autumn. So, if you’re in the area, September 3rd is the date!
