I have to admit, it’s a lot of work doing the Quadraphonic show! First of all, the B3, 4 leslies and a bunch of other stuff needs to be loaded in my Ford. I’m actually surprised each time I manage to fit everything in there! Not a lot of space left when it’s all packed. Then setting the whole thing up at the venue is quite a chore as well. But then, when it’s all in place and you try the first notes and they start bouncing around in the room, it’s all worth it. Cn’t think of anything similar to this that I have ever done. And I tell you now, if you haven’t seen this show, you need to do it!
It was my first Quadraphonic show in Stockholm, and this venue, Telefonfabriken, is really almost perfect for this kind of concert. It’s a black box with good lighting so you can really create a the mood needed. It feels like entering another world, far from the one outside.
