The Sandviken Jazz Festival “Bangen” is one of the oldest and most known jazz festivals in Sweden. Though, I have to admit, I have never been there, neother as a guest nor artist. So, I was so looking forward to finally play at this festival! Claes Janson, on the other hand, has been there a lot over the years, and has many past guest appearances with Sandviken Big Band, as well as recordings. So, a nice way to introduce myself to the audience!
We also had a guest appearance. My friend Monik Nordine from Canada is currently visiting Sweden so I brought her in for a few songs as well. It was a really nice way to finish the show!
