I played at Hallbergs Jazz & Blues for the first time in 2003, also then with Arnesen Bluesband. And over the years it’s actually the only band I’ve played with here. Not that I mind, but it is notable, considering I do do many other things on the jazz & blues scene. Arnesen Bluesband is one of those bands that I call the cornerstones of my musical life. It has been a constant part of my life for more than 20 years, and we have gotten to know each other very well, both musically and personally. I so appreciate that.
This time we were also joined by Claes Janson, who did the second set with us. To have both the blues band by itself and and Claes is a nice combination, because the output is quite different and they complement each other.
All in all, it was a great night in a crowded room with an enthusiastic audience!
